Harold Lee Farris, age 91, of Gray, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at his home.
Born on November 24, 1933, in Gray, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Joe Russell Farris and Jennie Cobb Farris. Harold was a US Army veteran of Korea, a retired coal miner, and attended Rossland Holiness Church in Gray, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Payne Farris in 2015; grandsons, Kevin Wayne Cox and Adam Bray; and by his siblings, Ruby Elliott, Zeb Farris, Jeree Turner, and Betty Krupp.
Harold is survived by his children, Gary Farris, Johnny Farris, Roger Farris, Jeannie Cox, Ronnie Farris, Jeff Farris, and Darla Farris; his brother Ray Farris; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Harold Farris will be from 12 - 2 pm on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 2 pm with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brafford Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky, with military honors by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin.
