Harold Clinton Flexer, 94, of Mt. Vernon, Indiana passed away November 6, 2024 at West River Health Campus. He was born on November 20, 1929 in Emmaus, PA to the late Harold Arthur and Margaret (Keinert) Flexer.
Harold enjoyed walking, traveling, and talking to people along the way. He worked for Upper Milfred Township in Pennsylvania as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 1994.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Flexer; and son-in-law, Doug Bell.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Bell; grandchildren, Jamie Bell (Stephanie), Chris Bell (Kristy), and Mike Bell (Christy); great-grandchildren, Chelsea Austin (Alex), Austin Bell, Matthew Bell and Blake Bell; great-great-grandchildren, Abigail, Adam, and Caleb Austin.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Schneider Funeral Home, 512 Main St., Mt. Vernon, IN with Pastor Matt Watson officiating and burial to follow in Immanuel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am service time on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 5757 Waterford District Drive, Suite 310, Miami, FL 33126.
