, 2025. He was born March 17, 1955 to Harold F. Weakleyand Louise Dodgen Weakley. He graduated from Serena High School, and Joliet Jr College. Freeman married Tonya Masear Weakley onMay27, 1989. They raised a blended family including his daughter, Candi, and Tonya's daughters Hillary and Kendra. Freeman was a sports
enthusiast, and spent many years coaching girls' softball in Somonauk. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, hunting and fishing. Healso loved bowling, enjoying leagues and tournaments. Freeman and Tonya moved to Alabama in 2021. He was a member of
Solitude Baptist Church of Albertville AL. The past several years he andhis wife ran Peddlers Den, traveling to convention centers and shows
across the country. Freeman ran the booth's cash register, and enjoyedmeeting and getting to know people while Tonya taught art classes. Heisfondly remembered by those he met, and will be sorely missed. He is
survived by his wife, Tonya, his mother, Louise of Seneca IL, sisters
Linda Sullivan of Leland, Beatrice "Bea" Devine of Seneca, daughters
Candi Classon, Hillary Herbst, Kendra (William) Holloway, 3
grandchildren, 8 nieces and nephews, 4 great nieces and nephews, andone great great niece. He was preceded in death by his father, HaroldF. Weakley, one step daughter, one granddaughter, one great nephew. Arrangements were handled by the Cremation Center of Birmingham, Woodstock, AL.
