Harold Dodd Obituary
Mr. Dodd was born October 25, 1939 in Jefferson County, Alabama to Mr. Samuel Wesley Dodd and Mrs. Lottie Edith Phillips Dodd. He was married to Mrs. Peggy Joyce Blackerby Dodd before her passing in 1996. Mr. Dodd was a factory worker at Consolidated Dairy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.
He was preceded in death by: Wife, Mrs. Peggy Joyce Dodd; Daughter, Mrs. Robin Wilkins; Brother, Mr. Ronald Dodd.
He is survived by: Grandchildren, Mrs. Cortney Chupp (Cody) and Mr. Shannon Brock (Alissa); Great Grandchildren, Peyton Chupp, Logan Chupp, Casen Brock and Colten Brock; Son in Law, Mr. Mike Wilkins; Sister, Carolyn Dodd; Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, February 6, 2026 at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church Cemetery in Vestavia Hills, Alabama at 1:00 CST.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026, 5:00 - 7:00 EST at Benson Funeral Home.
