Harold Hall Obituary
Of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the age of 84.
Butch was born on April 19, 1941, in Eaton Rapids, the son of Paul and Pauline (Boody) Hall. He was raised in Eaton Rapids and graduated with the Class of 1959.
In the late 1960s, Butch purchased Old Mill Furniture, a business he proudly owned and operated for 57 years, continuing until declining health made it no longer possible. Beyond his work, Butch was deeply involved in boat and motorcycle racing, competing throughout the Midwest and the southern United States. Over the years, he earned numerous wins and accolades, recognized as a top competitor in his field.
An extremely active individual, Butch also enjoyed kayaking, bicycling, and was a talented boat builder. He cherished winter months spent in Ocala, Florida, and treasured many summers on Duck Lake in Michigan.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Emily Hall; and his brother, James Hall. He is survived by his sons, Greg (Brenda) Hall, Chuck Hall, and Mike Hall; grandchildren, Haley Hall, Leila Hall, and Amanda Dubois; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Cadence McGuirt; and great-great-grandchild, Frankie Mei.

Butch and Emily were close friends in our young adult lives. Especially a nice week in 1968 at Duck Lake where Georgia and I had rented a cottage. We lost touch after we moved to Hillsdale. Butch´s parents had one of the other shoe stores in Eaton Rapids when we were in high school.
He was a fine person. Condolences to his family.
