Harold Lane Harris

Harold Lane Harris, age 73, of Buffalo Grove, beloved husband, best and longest friend of Judy Harris, nee Schuster; loving father of Alisa (Nick Paulson) Harris and Elana (Paul Desai) Harris; adored Papa of Ben, Lucas, Gabbi, and Emilia; devoted son of the late Sam and the late Shirley Harris; cherished son-in-law of the late Irwin and the late Shirley Schuster; dear brother of Janet (Paul) Levine and Marla Hersh; fond brother-in-law of Susie Axelrod; special "Dog Dad" of the late Devil, late Tosca, late Aviva, late Avi, late Molly and late Greta. Harold was lovingly care for by Lani, Larry, Ronnie, and Ford. Harold was known for his amazing smile and dry sense of humor, which made him very approachable and easy to talk. These traits along with his extensive financial knowledge, served him well as the President of Harris-Hersh Financial Group. Harold enjoyed singing, especially loved embarrassing his daughters with his vocal prowess. The most important thing in Harold's life was his devotion to his family, especially his one-of-kind relationship with his grandchildren, be it carpooling for activities, talking sports with his grandsons, and daycare. He was a very hands-on Papa. Service Monday, 10:30 a.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Block N. of Lake Cook Rd.).
