Harold Holder Obituary
Mr. Harold Ray Holder, age 85, of Clemmons, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. He was born on April 13, 1939, in King, NC, to the late Lemmie Franklin Holder and Lillian Mabe Holder. He was a retired business owner of Clemmons Paint and Wallpaper Center, serving his community with dedication for many years. In his free time, he loved playing golf which brought him joy and friendship throughout his life.
Mr. Holder was preceded in death by two sisters, Mae and Nancy and six brothers, L.F. Jr., Samuel, Aaron, Maynard, Rex and Leo. He is survived by his wife, Faye Davis Holder; two daughters, Linette Greene of Pfafftown and Lynn Drumheller of Concord; two sons, Hal Thomson and family of France and John (Jaime) Holder of Tolland, CT; grandchildren Ben Hall, Maddy Drumheller, Jack Drumheller, Sydney Holder, Evan Holder; brothers and sisters Eugene (Nell) Holder of California, Bonnie Mitchell of King, Carlos (Mary) Holder of Clemmons, and Linda Benson of Pilot Mountain.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Clemmons United Methodist Church by Rev. John Fitzgerald and Rev. Mark Portis. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery.
