Harold A. Kelly, Jr, 69, of Neptune NJ entered into eternal life on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Hackensack Meridian Medical
Center, Neptune, NJ. Harold attended Brielle Elementary and Manasquan High School. After graduating High School he entered the Army where he spent many years, until a disability forced his retirement.
Affectionately known as Kelsey, he was a big sports fan. He spent many years playing and coaching basketball. His passion however was bowling, he was great at it, and boy did he know it! He played in many different bowling leagues, enjoyed traveling around the country with them, making many good friends along the way. During his spare time Kelsey could be found in front of the television watching his favorite teams the Knicks, Yankees and Giants.
He was not only a huge sports fan, but he was so much more! He had a heart of gold. He loved to give and make people happy. Everyone was special to him and he always made sure that you knew that! He is in God's hand now, and he will get his reward for the love he showed all of us.
Kelsey was predeceased by his parents, Harold Sr. and Roselle Kelly; stepfather William Wheeler; sister Paula Kelly; grandparents Junior and Martha Morton, aunts Estelle Wyckoff, Alfreda Morgan and uncles Richard, Robert, Lawrence and Stanley Morton.
Harold is survived by his wife Barbara Kelly, granddaughter, Faith Dunn; stepsons Phillip Dunn (Jeanette), New Mexico and Chris Dunn (Ebony), Toms River; brother Robert Morton (Mary) Delaware; nephews Robert Morton Jr., Somerset and Tyrone Morton, Asbury Park; aunts Alice Lee, Brielle and Corinthia Butterfield, Whiting. And a host of cousins and friends.
