LYNCH, HAROLD
Harold Ray Lynch, 88, departed this life December 25, 2024 at Mt Carmel Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verl and Laura Lynch and brother Basil (Carolyn) Lynch. He is survived by his ex wife Claudine Lynch, son, Michael (Celeste), grandchildren, David and Elizabeth, sister, Leola Lusk, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He attended Littlesburg Elementary, Glenwood Middle and Princeton High School. After graduation in 1954, he moved to Orlando, FL and worked for Crown Cork and Seal making aluminum cans. He worked for Reynolds Metals, Richmond, VA. and Tampa, FL in a management position. He Took a job with Metal Container Corporation in Jacksonville, FL and was later transferred to Columbus, OH in 1980. He retired in 2002. His favorite sports were Nascar racing and football with Ohio State University being his favorite.
He loved listening to lots of country singers, but his favorite singer was Elvis Presley, especially his Gospel albums. He also loved watching old western movies. Family will receive friends on Friday January 3, 2025 from 12pm - 1pm at CRAVENS-SHIRES FUNERAL HOME, Bluewell, WV. where a funeral service will follow. Interment Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV. Condolences may be made at craven-shires.com.
