Harold (Harry) N. Marble, 96, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Kerrville, Texas, after a brief illness.
Harry was born on September 15, 1929, in International Falls, Minnesota. He spent his childhood in the nearby town of Ray, Minnesota, where he attended school and graduated from Falls High
School in 1947. In 1948, Harry joined the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician and served for 22 years, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in 1970. He had the honor of serving on the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War, where he was responsible for maintaining the radar on the first nuclear carrier in the Navy. After his Navy service, Harry worked for the Civil Service at Ground Electronics in Corpus Christi, Texas, and later for Schlumberger, before settling down in Center Point. He had a deep love for the outdoors and the beauty of the Hill Country.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Harold Marble and Alice Ruth Marble; his sister and brother-in-law, Janice Lagergren and Dennis Lagergren; his first wife, Joy Nell Marble; and his grandson, Steven Andrew Marble.
He is survived by his devoted wife Joyce Marble of Center Point; his son Randy Marble and wife Cindy of Angleton, Texas; his granddaughter Allison Morrison and husband, Kenneth; his grandson Kevin Marble and wife, Sarah; and his great-granddaughter Olive Morrison.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
