Marshall, Harold Arthur (HAM) 76, of Hopkins, passed away surrounded by family Oct. 14, 2008. Preceded in death by parents, George and Cora; brother, George Jr. Survived by mother of his children, Astrida; children, Dan (Julie), Lisa (Dane) Doescher and Andre; grandchildren, Danny, Emily, Justin, Jeana, Alexsis, Shaun and Chelsey; nephew, Ron; niece, Rhonda; many relatives and friends. He served during the Korean War. Teacher and coach. Great lover of music. Memorial service 5 PM Thursday, Oct. 23 at Cremation Society of MN Chapel, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina (952-924-4100), with visitation one hour prior. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the VA Hospital.

Our condolences to the Marshall family from the Illies family.
Ham bone, as he was so fondly called, was a free spirit yet a decent and gentle man. The Illies family loved Ham like a brother and will miss him greatly.
