Harold Lynn Mason, age 69 of New Tazewell passed away January 14, 2026, with his family by his side. He was born March 1, 1956, in Middlesboro, Ky. to Jack and Sylvia Whitaker Mason who precede him in death.
Harold was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by wife Denise Mason, father and mother Jack and Sylvia Irene Mason. Harold is survived by the mother of his children Mollie Mason, sons Harold Mason, Jr., Josh Mason and wife Amy, daughters Sharon Langford and husband Justin Daniel, Rita McDaniel and husband Alonso. Grandchildren Justin Hill, Cody Hill, Joshua Mason, Charles Langford, Nathan Langford, Haley Mason, Kristin Mason and one great granddaughter Gracelynn Lowe. Sisters Sandy Herrell and husband Johnny, Joette Smith and husband Jerry, brothers Kenny Mason and wife Janice, and Doug Mason and wife Joyce. As well as a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews and other friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday January 17, 2026, from 11:00am till 1:00pm at the Claiborne ~ Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services to follow at 1:00pm with the Rev. Jack Daniels officiating. Music will be provided by Men on a Mission. Burial will follow in the Shell Family Cemetery in Harrogate, TN.
Pallbearers: Coy Smith, Greg Herrell, Brandon Williams, Nathan Langford, Charles Langford and Trent Mason.
