Harold Rudy Phillips

Harold Rudy Phillips, 79, of Belmont passed away on September 3, 2023 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.  He was born on June 30, 1944 to the late Cris Phillips and Wit Jones Phillips.  He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Vivian Parks; son, Patrick Jasper; a grandson, A.J. Parks; and his brothers, Herman and Hampton Phillips.  Harold was a member of West Cramerton Baptist Church.  He loved to read his Bible.  Harold was a truck driver for many years and when he wasn't fishing, hunting, or watching wrestling, he enjoyed being at home around his grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Bobbie Phillips; children, Rusty Phillips, Harold Phillips Jr., Belinda Howie and husband Tim, and Anthony Jasper; son-in-law, Arturo Alcaraz; grandchildren, Christopher and wife Angela, Brandon, Stephen, and Holly and husband Ryan; and great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Mason, Aria, Alassana, Kellan, Riley, and Charlotte.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at West Cramerton Baptist Church, 5006 Wilkinson Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28056 with Rev. Mike Ivey officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m.
