He was born February 14, 1979, in Lafayette, IN, to Albert Scott Jr and the late and Debra Bills Scott.
Michael worked at Cargill and was also an ordained minister.
Michael enjoyed music, hanging out with friends, camping, bonfires and playing darts and Xbox. He had a love for inappropriate (shock factor) t-shirts and his favorite go-to beverage, Busch Light! You could catch him hanging out around the corner at The Benhur when he wasn't working. He lived off of cigarettes and energy drinks, but nothing compared to his sweet tooth. He could devour an entire package of cookies in one day. You rarely ever saw him without his Hey Dudes on. The man thought they were the best shoes in the world. He loved animals and he loved his dog, Courage.
Surviving is his father, Albert (stepmother Dianna) Scott Jr of Lafayette, two daughters, Hadleigh Scott (14) of Covington and Lydia Scott (11) of Plymouth and two brothers, Albert (wife Tracy) Scott, III of Lafayette and Karl (wife Stephanie) of Grein, MT. Two nieces Amanda Brandenburg and Christina Wissman.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Bills Scott and a brother, Bradley F. Scott.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909.

I am shocked you are gone so young. I wish I could have been in your life more than our teenage years. You were always kind to me and a great friend anyone could ever ask for. R.I.H. Michael Scott you will be missed by many.
