Mr. Harold Dale Smith

Mr. Harold Dale Smith, age 75, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026. He was born on August 29, 1950, in Mena, Arkansas, to parents, Milton Smith and Laverne (Johnson) Smith.

Harold retired from the Oklahoma State Forestry Service, while working alongside his brother Gale for many years. He enjoyed driving around in his old jeep, listening to gospel music while checking his cows and feeding the deer. His true passion was spending time with grandkids and working on his never-ending projects around the farm.

Mr. Harold Dale Smith is preceded in death by his father, Milton Smith; his mother, Laverne Smith; his sisters, Alice Gray, and Diane Baxter; brothers, Bobby Smith and Stanton Douglas Smith. Harold is survived by his son, Kale Smith and wife Alycia of New Martinsville, West Virgina; daughters, Janna Murphy and husband Tim of Royal, Arkansas, and Kala Smith of Cove, Arkansas; grandchildren, Mattie Ross, Zoe Hamilton, Wyatt Ross, Weston Ross, Creed Smith, Abigail King, Makenzie Butler, Kainen Smith, and Jace Butler; brother, Milton Gale Smith; sisters, Anita Ruth Bates, and Phyllis Blake; as well as by several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends too numerous to mention.

Graveside services for Mr. Harold Dale Smith will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 7th, 2026, at Watson Cemetery in Watson, Oklahoma. Brother Rodney Provence will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Derrick Blake, Patrick Blake, Andy Smith, Doug Smith, Weston Ross, and Steve Oglesby. There is no visitation scheduled.
