He is preceded in death by his mother, Ida Bell Thompson.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife of fifty-seven years, Patricia McCain Thompson of the home; children: Tracey Boubacar (Issoufou) of Browns Summit, North Carolina and Kimberly Price (Jenell) of Mount Holly, North Carolina; grandchildren: Khadeeja Boubacar and Teagan Price; one brother, Jimmy Thompson of Charlotte, North Carolina; an aunt, Shirley Thompson of Rocky Mount, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the home, 12682 NC HWY 119 North in Semora, North Carolina 27343.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later time.
