Harold "Lucky" West

Harold West, better known as Lucky, was born July 17, 1951, in Long Branch, New Jersey to BeBe and Leona "Ms. Tookie" West. He attended Eatontown schools and was a lifelong resident of the borough. He was a Firefighter for Fort Monmouth and a volunteer Firefighter as well as a member of the EMS /First Aid Squad for Eatontown for over 40 plus years. He also had a passion for driving and drove charter buses and school buses for Seman-Tov until his retirement.

Lucky was as social as they come and would always have a kind word with anyone especially if he came across them on his daily walks. He liked to travel and loved to be in California for the holidays. An avid fisherman and hunter, he loved the outdoors.

One of seven children, he was preceded in death by both his parents, two brothers Robert and David as well as his sister Deborah. He is survived by his sister Janet Thomas, Thomas (Rhonda) West, and Steven (Irene) West, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and an abundance of friends.
