Willard
YADKINVILLE- Mr. Harold “Hozzy” Hugh Willard, 56, of Union Cross Church Road passed away peacefully Thursday, December 12, 2024 at his home. He was born September 25, 1968 in Surry County to Harold Dean and Peggy Jean Myers Willard. Mr. Willard worked several years as a Team Leader at Sam’s Club in Winston-Salem. He was of the Baptist Faith and loved spending his time outside hunting, fishing, or riding 4-wheelers. He also enjoyed gunsmithing and building different firearms and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Jean Myers Willard, and by his grandparents, Charlie Ed and Margaret Willard and Charlie and Delia Myers. Surviving are his beloved daughters that he adored, Emily Lynn Willard Crouse and husband, Lance Michael Crouse; DeAnna Willard Keathley and husband, Samuel Keathley; his cherished grandchildren, Peyton Grace Crouse, his future granddaughter Keathley; his father, Harold Dean Willard; his partner for life or in his loving words, “His Person”, Susanne “Suzy” Quail and her sons, Cruise Quail and Jax Quail; his sisters, Deana Sparks and husband, Allen, Meloney McNatt and husband, Larry; nephews, Adam & Andrew and wife, Liz; great-nephews, Tyler & Charlie; and his uncle Robert Dwain Willard. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
