HAROLD WINDHOLZ

HAROLD WINDHOLZ 02/17/1934 - 06/24/2025 Pratt - Harold "H.P." Windholz, 91, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Hilltop Manor in Cunningham. He was born on February 17, 1934 in Walker, Kansas to John A.D. and Rosa (Weigel) Windholz. Harold married Rosalie "Teddy" (Steinert) Windholz on May 2, 1960 in Pratt. They were married for 65 years. Harold served in The United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Western Commercial Transport in Oklahoma and continued to drive in and around Pratt for various projects. Most will know him from hauling gravel for Green Sports Complex. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a proud caretaker of the Barron Theater. He is survived by his wife, Teddy; son, Art (Amy) Windholz of Wichita; daughter, Lisa (John) Proctor of Norman, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Adam Windholz, Zachary (Kelly) Windholz, Caleb (Samantha) Windholz, Kalee (Anthony) Hildreth, Courtney (Adam) Felts, Jake Windholz and Caddie (Sam) Cox; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Harold is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Hilary, Arthur and Otto Francis Windholz; and a great-granddaughter. Per Harold's wishes, cremation has taken place. A family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Walker, Kansas.
