Harriett J. Hulsizer Poux Whitley, 95, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025. She was born in Bradford, Pennsylvania, on March 3, 1930, to the late Pauline and Vern Hulsizer.
Harriett is survived by her daughters Karen (Billy) Coe of Union City, PA, and Patricia (William) Tyler of Cheyenne, WY. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Kristen (Scott) Washenfelder; Gregory Pratz (Mark Guiberson); Jesse (Brandon) Lockhart; and Allison (Ryan) Rhomba, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren: Arianna, Easton, Beckett, William, Alexander, and Olivia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, George Poux; and her second husband, William Whitley.
Harriett will be remembered for her vibrant personality and her role as the family’s self-appointed “Activities Director.” Whether it was horseshoes, cards, or board games, she brought enthusiasm, laughter, and joy to every gathering. Her feisty and loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
