Harry Randall Anderson Sr.

Harry Randall Anderson, Sr., age 92, of Hanahan, SC, died at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation on Friday, December 5, 2025. He was born in Florence, SC on November 7, 1933, to the late Calvin Anderson and Pearl Joyner Anderson. Harry was the husband of Barbara Flowers Anderson for 68 years. Harry served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, embodying the values of service and sacrifice. He was a faithful member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Hanahan, SC, where he contributed to his community with kindness and humility. Harry dedicated over 40 years of his life to his work at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, where he retired as a respected welding engineer. Above all, Harry was a great husband and dad, whose love and guidance left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of strength, integrity, and love will be cherished forever.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Randy Anderson, and wife Lisa, and step-grandson, Tyler Gregory. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Anderson.
A service will be held in Florence, SC, at Florence National Cemetery, to be announced at a later date.
