Harry S. Ball Jr., 88, of Wooster, formerly of Maryland, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, with his family by his side.
Harry was born June 20, 1936, in Seat Pleasant, MD to Harry Sr. and Frances {Fletcher} Ball.
Harry was a warehouse manager for many years. He attended Chippewa Church of the Brethren. Harry enjoyed fishing, watching birds and planes, playing cards, and tending to his yard and flowers. He enjoyed researching genealogy with his daughter Kim.
Harry will be deeply missed by his girlfriend of 9 years, Bonnie Hartman of Wooster; children David (Cary) Ball of Dillwyn, VA, Robert (Jenifer) Larsen of Greenville, NC; James Ball of Gloucester, VA, Kimberly (Bill Righter) Ball of Waldorf, MD, and Timothy Ball of Galax, VA; grandchildren Tamra Hickman, Jadelyn Ball, and Lukas Righter; great-grandchildren Skylee and Sydney Ayers, and Zyke McKinney Bonnie’s children Alexis Rine, Susan and Makenzie Hartman.
Harry was preceded in death by his siblings John, George, and David Carnell, Frances Agoritsas and Ellen Fulk.
Services will be Monday at 2 pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster and livestreamed below. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, Maryland.
