Harry James Bennett, III, 73, of Coal Center, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Born in McKeesport on April 3, 1950, he was the son of the late Harry James Bennett Jr. and Dorothy V. (Webster) Bennett.
Jim worked for Bennett Vending. Jim, along with his wife, Patty, were very proud that they built their home, from the foundation up! Jim honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia M. (Gula) Bennet; grandson, Zachary James Bennett; and brother; Mark L. (Brook) Bennett of Roscoe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son James D. Bennett; and sister, Suzanne L. Bennett.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com with Rev. David Means officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will be conducted on Friday, March 15 at 2 p.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
