Harry Dean Obituary Harry Dean, age 95, passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2025. He was born to the late Harry and Julia Dean in Milwaukee, WI on July 20, 1929. He was the husband of Karon Dean (Pearson) for 64 years.
Harry is survived by his wife Karon, son James (Tiffany) Dean, grandchildren Skylar Dean (Rory) Sherrod and Logan Dean, and great-grandson Peter Sherrod. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In Harrys early years, he lived in Sussex and Stevens Point, WI. He moved back to Milwaukee in his 20s. Harry worked for Motor Castings in West Allis and set pins for a local bowling alley. He also worked for decades at Ampco Metal in Milwaukee. Harry always had a passion for motor vehicles and enjoyed working and delivering auto supplies and parts to auto repair shops in Chicago, IL until age 94. He also enjoyed selling automotive supplies along with other things such as razor blades at the 7 Mile Fair and other flea markets in southeastern Wisconsin.
Along with a passion for the automotive industry, he had a great fascination with reptiles and other animals; he loved catching turtles, snakes, and even clams. He enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle! He also brought his enjoyment for games to Potawatomi Casino where he frequented with his wife and son. Harry prided himself on his honesty, fairness, and great work ethic.
