Harry A. Schiech III, 63, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 18, 2025. Born on May 8, 1962, in Philadelphia, he was the beloved son of the late Harry Schiech Jr. and Rose (Laird). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Rose and Valarie. Harry is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret (Holecek) Schiech; his sons, Harry Schiech and wife Alicia of Lewistown, and Joseph Schiech and wife Caitlin of Juniata Terrace. He is also survived by his siblings, David Schiech of Mifflintown, Mark Schiech and wife Teresa of Lewistown, and Michelle Ruark and husband Chris of Maryland; his god-children, Frances, Amanda, and Holly, along with six cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A gifted and passionate tattoo artist, Harry was recognized for his talent with an award at Sturgis for the best black and grey tattoo. His creativity extended beyond tattooing-he found joy in painting, airbrushing, and passing his artistic knowledge on to his grandchildren, whom he adored.
