Harry W. Speaker Jr

Harry W Speaker Jr. (aka Sonny) of Gloucester, NJ born September 16, 1956, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 2, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 69 years old. Born in Mt. Holly, NJ, Harry was a long-time resident of Mt. Holly and Riverside, NJ. Harry worked in the sheet rock industry and more recently worked for ICC warehouse in Lumberton.
He is predeceased by his parents (Harry Speaker Sr. and Charlotte Speaker), his brother Ronald Speaker, and 2 of his granddaughters. He is survived by his siblings Barbara Stanhope (Ed), Evie Speaker (Tom), and Debra Geiger (Paul), his 5 children; Maryann Gonteski nee Speaker, Deborah DoAmaral (Mark), Chris Speaker (Anna), Rebecca Speaker, Jessica Speaker (Cory), his 18 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He enjoyed wrestling, fishing, the 3 stooges, and rock music.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday November 20th, 2025 at 9:30 am at the Delran United Methodist Church located at 32 Conrow Road Delran, NJ 08075. Burial to follow at Old Whiting Cemetery located at County Rd 530 and Aster PI Whiting, NJ. Friends and Family are welcome.
