Harry Taylor passed away on November 6, 2021 at age 85. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Terry Carver and Brother Eugene Murray, is 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church (1702 Sparta Pike), Lebanon TN and will be followed by interment in Wilson County Memorial. Pallbearers: Deacons of Calvary Baptist. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Tuesday 4-8 p.m. and at Calvary Baptist on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in his honor to the Calvary Baptist building fund.
Harry Floyd Taylor was born in Lebanon TN to Ila Masters Taylor and Boas Taylor. Harry served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and taught Sunday School there for more than 40 years. He loved helping people, reading the bible, being with his family, bluegrass music, and spending time in the Great Smokey Mountains. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marie Taylor, children Mark (Mary Ann) Taylor and Lisa (Johnny) Plumlee, grandchildren Ashley Kline, Marshall (Natalie Davis) Taylor, Lindsey Plumlee and Kendal Plumlee, great grandchildren Rylee Kline and Kelby Kline, sisters Kathy Sneed and Ruby Atkinson, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Ila and Boas Taylor, siblings Daisy Wauford, Pearlie Bolling, Rogers Taylor, and Robert Taylor. Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, 615.444.9393.
