Harry E. Way, 80, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 in his home. Born February 1, 1945 in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Harry Enos and Elaine M. (Rineer) Way.
He was a graduate of Reading Senior High School with the Class of 1963. Harry was employed as an accountant for Exide Battery, Reading, PA. He retired in 1998 after many years with the company. He formerly attended St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Reading, PA. Harry enjoyed shooting pool and golfing.
He is survived by his brother, James Way of Chambersburg; a nephew, Doug Way and his wife Tonya of Port St. Lucie, FL; a niece, Kristin Bard of Chambersburg; a great-niece, Summer Kriner and her husband Erik of Fayetteville, PA; great-great nieces, Finley and Juniper Kriner; and a great-great nephew, Hutchinson Kriner.
Services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, March 17, 2025 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
