Harry Weimer Obituary

After graduating from McKinley High School, Harry enlisted in the U.S Navy where he worked on planes. He then went on to graduate from the Baltimore City Police Academy. He worked in the N.E district of Baltimore city as a Baltimore city police officer where he earned many awards for his bravery. After leaving the police dept., he was the owner of Gold Shield Security Company.
He loved to read, fish, watch football and spend time with family and friends. He also loved to watch his favorite softball team and attend their tournaments.
Harry is survived by his daughter Mary A. Scurto (DE), his son Barry Weimer (Victoria) (Balt), brothers Joel Hooper (PA), Kevin Weimer (Balt), Keith Weimer (Balt), Kimberly Motz (Ohio) as well as his grandchildren David R. Scurto III (Utah), Dean Weimer (Balt) and Ella Weimer (Balt). Harry was preceded in death by his son Harry S. Weimer III and sister Heather Weimer.
A memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday December 16, 2023 at Holloway Funeral Home with a visitation from 9-10am.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home located at 501 Snow Hill Road Salisbury, MD 21804.
