Harry Widner Obituary
Mr. Harry Widner of Colquitt died Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services with military honors will be Monday, March 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Eternal Rest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Visitation will be Monday, March 17, 2025, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Colquitt Funeral Home.
Mr. Widner retired from the US Army after serving two tours in Korea and one in Vietnam. After his military career he joined the Hunstville, AL Sheriff's Department and later retired as a Criminal Investigor. Mr. Widner was a christian.
He is survived by two daughters, Theresa Kaye (Terry) Prietz of Bristol, TN, and Kathy (Tim) Fogle of Newnan, GA; one son, Michael Widner; twelve grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Clara Sue Widner Hart of Colquitt, GA, Elise Widner Gordon of Donalsonville, Jewann Widner (Ben) Johnson of Colquitt, GA; and two brothers, Kenneth Winston (Mittie) Widner of Climax, GA and Leon (Gail) Widner of Colquitt, GA.
