Harvey Edmond Mohs, age 88, of Waite Park, MN, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, in Sartell, MN, surrounded by family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will take place at St. Joseph’s Church preceding the mass from 9:00am to 11:00am.
Harvey was born on October 7, 1937, in St. Martin, MN, to Joseph and Thekla (Winter) Mohs. After graduating from high school, he worked various jobs before beginning his long career with American Linen Supply, where he worked as a route driver for 30 years. Harvey took pride in his work and built lasting friendships with many of his customers along the way.
On June 25, 1960, Harvey was united in marriage to Evelyn Ostendorf in St. Anthony, MN. Together, they shared 65 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.
Harvey was a hardworking, kindhearted man who always had time for a good card game or a fishing trip. He loved camping, deer hunting, and tinkering with cars in his spare time. But above all, he treasured time spent with his family—whether gathered around the table for a meal, out at the lake, or simply visiting and sharing stories. His steady presence, sense of humor, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Evie; sons Dennis (Ruth) Mohs of St. Cloud, Kevin (Mary) Mohs of St. Joseph, and Kim Holweger of Rice; grandchildren Brent Mohs, Katlyn Mohs, Justin Mohs, Tina Schell, Jesse Mohs, Erin Johnson, Josh Mohs; eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Ralph Mohs, Viola Leukem, Adeline Schloeder, Theresa Brang, Cathy Klempke; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Thekla Mohs; son, Darwin Mohs; siblings, Jerome Mohs, Dorothy Holthaus, Angeline Kalthoff, Joe Mohs, Art Mohs, Francis Mohs, and Mary Plachecki.
Harvey’s family extends their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and staff who provided comfort and support during his final days. Harvey will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family.
