Janet Mohs Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 17, 2025.
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Janet Mohs. Janet went into the loving embrace of our Lord and Savior on October 11, 2025, at the age of 74, surrounded by her husband and children at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Janet was born on May 28, 1951, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a graduate of Wheaton College in Chicago, where she earned a degree in accounting. She worked as an account manager, handling 401K transitions for large companies across the United States for BMO until her retirement in 2019.

Janet is survived by her husband, Glenn; her son, Dan Madrigal (Rebecca); her daughter, Diana Santana (Bayrex Sr.); and her three grandchildren, Bayrex Jr., Aragon, and Luci, who filled her life with joy.

Janet was cremated, and her remains will be released to the wind during a private celebration of life in the spring of 2026 in Door County, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your favorite charity in her name.

Janet spent her childhood in Peru, where her father, Jim Le Tourneau (Bobbe), was helping build roads in the jungle. She was bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. She was adventurous, loved motorcycling, and visited the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as the 'Going to the Sun Road' in Montana. Janet enjoyed traveling, having visited most of the United States, parts of Europe, and cruised in Alaska and South America.

Janet loved playing with her grandchildren and watching children frolic in the park. She made everyone laugh, showed genuine interest in their lives, and taught all of us how to achieve more than we thought possible. Her favorite saying was, "I love you and I mean it... this time."

She will be desperately missed and never forgotten.
