Harvey Patton

Harvey Stanley Patton, 88, of Clyde, Ohio, passed away on December 25, 2025. Born on April 11, 1937, in Lexington, Tennessee, Harvey was a reliable and dedicated man who exemplified the values of hard work and commitment. He was a man of ambition, a trait that was evident in every endeavor he undertook. Yet his greatest ambition was not for personal gain, but to provide for those he loved.

After serving his country in the Army division, Harvey was employed 32 years at Ford Motor Co. in Lorain, Ohio, before retiring in 1989. He was a generous man, always willing to give of his time and energy. He was a proud member of the Masons for 52 years. His hobbies included hunting, farming, and fishing, and he was a dedicated family man. He was the loving husband to Sharon Patton (Downing) for over 50 years, and a devoted father and grandfather.

Harvey is survived by his children, Shawn Green of Hudson, Ohio, Taryn Patton of Fremont, Ohio, and Tyson Patton of Clyde, Ohio. He was also a grandfather to Kaleb Young, Kalee Young, and Cole Patton. His brother, Harold Patton, resides in Huntsville, Alabama. Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, Omar and Bonnie Patton, and his brother, James Patton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 10:00am at Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, located at 218 South Main Street, Clyde, Ohio, 43410. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am.
