ADRIAN–Harvey Daniel Warner Jr., age 82, formerly of Addison, died Tuesday, October 28, 2025, while under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. He was born December 2, 1942, in Adrian, to Harvey and Alice (Sinning) Warner Sr.
Harvey grew up in Tipton and graduated from Onsted High School. He worked for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 2000. When he wasn't working, Harvey enjoyed employing his carpentry skills on various construction and remodeling projects. His favorite pastimes were being in the company of his beloved grandchildren and spending time fishing on his boat. Harvey endured the debilitating effects of Parkinson's Disease over the past 10 years.
Harvey is survived by a daughter, Wendy (Jon) Danna of Addison; two sisters, Rita (Jack) Wolf of Loch Erin and Donna (Glenn) Champion of Onsted; a grandson, JT Danna of Petersburg; and a granddaughter, Jordan Danna of Addison. He was preceded in death by his parents and several of his siblings.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., and again on Friday, October 31, from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. A funeral service for Harvey will be held at the funeral home on Friday, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Lawrence La-Follette officiating. Cremation will follow and he will be laid to rest in Franklin Cemetery in Tipton at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to Lenawee Medical Care Facility or to Hospice of Lenawee, who both took exceptional care of Harvey. Arrangements have been made with the guidance of the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.
