Evrod C. Warner

Evrod Chalenor Warner passed away at the Fort Washington Health Center, Fort Washington, Md. on February 10th, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Constance A. Warner, who passed away in 2019. Evrod was 90.

Evrod was born and raised in the township of La Boca, Canal Zone, Republic of Panama. He attended the La Boca Occupational High School. He furthered his education, graduating with a Bachelor of Science from Trenton State College, Trenton, NJ.

Evrod, a former enlisted soldier, rose to the rank of Major in the US Army. He served 2 combat tours in Vietnam and is the recipient of the Silver Star and numerous other awards for valor to include the Air Medal and several Bronze Stars with V Device. He retired from his second career as a senior Director of Transportation for Johnson & Johnson.

He was an active member of several organizations to include Veterans of Foreign Wars, 4th Infantry Division Alumni, and the proud leader and organizer of the monthly Panamanian Breakfast Group.

He is survived by his daughter, Valerie, his sons: Wendell (Tina), Hasani, Kevin (Juanita), and his beloved grand and great-grandchildren, Chare (Aaron), Colby, Aaron (Rachel), Alisha, Alexis, Tyrone, Nichole, Casen, Dylan, Josephine and many nephews and nieces.

His Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, March 6th, 2026, at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA. 22315. It will also be livestreamed on the funeral home's website. The Viewing will be from 10 am to 11 am. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington VA, at a future date.
