Haskell Patterson Obituary
Haskell Patterson, age 75, of Clinton, SC, husband of Judy Smith Patterson, passed away, Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Prisma Health – Laurens County Hospital.
He was born May 31, 1950 in Clinton, SC, and was the son of the late Marvin Patterson, Sr. and Betty Smith Patterson. Haskell dedicated many years of his life to work, retiring from Torrington Bearing Company and later becoming the proud owner of Judge Patterson Racing. Haskell was an avid race fan, and fisherman, but what he loved most of all was spending time with all his grandkids. He always made sure to have popsicles ready anytime the great grandkids came over.
In addition to his wife, Haskell is survived by his son, Mart Patterson (Kelly) of Clinton; his daughter, Patricia Patterson Avery (Jay) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Christopher Patterson (Natalie), Carly Quarles (Blaine), and Grant Burton; his great-grandchildren, Pressley Patterson, Lakelyn Patterson, Ellisyn Patterson, and Remi Claire Quarles; and his brother, Nathan Patterson of Ninety-Six.
In addition to his parents, Haskell was preceded in death by his brothers, Otis Patterson, and Ernest Patterson.
Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton.
The family will greet visitors prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of his son, Mart Patterson, 346 Milam Road, Clinton, SC 29325.
