Ms. Hattie Blackwell McIntosh of Elberton Georgia was called home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2023.   She was born September 16,1950 In Hart County GA, to Mr. William Blackwell and Mrs. Bermice Jones Blackwell. "Ms. Hattie" was employed by Wayne's Poultry and Bowman Sewing Plant. "Ms. Hattie" was well known for her outgoing personality, laughs, and unpredictable conversations. She was a member of  Church of God in Bowman Georgia. She enjoyed her family, friends, church, and simply having a good time.    "Ms. Hattie, is preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Allen; brother, William Henry Blackwell: and niece, Cora McCain.   She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Dorthy Allen and Michelle Hester. Five grandchildren; Antonio( Shakina) Gray, Donikia Gray, Kimberly Burton, Torry Gray, and Traykevia Burch. Nine Great-Grandchildren, Tonisha Fortson, Chelsee Walton, Maquaris Turman, Demetrius Moore, Iesha Burton, Jaida Rudder, Erica Starks, Ayvani Gray, Keelin Gray and one Great Great grandson Carmello Moon. Two siblings brother Thomas (Rosie) Blackwell; sister, Lizzie (Howard) Geter. Six nieces and nephews; Eddie Maxwell, Stephanie Maxwell, Rose Gray, Joyce Blackwell, Sharon (Greg) Cunningham, Thomas (Tiffany) Blackwell Jr.    Funeral services to celebrate Hattie's life will be held 2PM, Sunday, September 17 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The body will lie in state from 10AM to 1:30 PM, Sunday, September 17, at Berry Funeral Home.   The family is at the home on Auld Ave. Elberton, GA.   Berry Funeral Home and Crematory of Elberton is in charge if the funeral arrangements for Ms. Hattie Mae Blackwell McIntosh.
