Hattie Stepczyk Obituary
Hattie graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Education and was a lifelong
educator starting in Galena Park as a Home Economics teacher and finishing as a professor at
San Jacinto College. She loved to cook and was known by many as "Aunt Cookie". She was also
known to kick up her heels and dance away to any Czech/Polka song.
Hattis is survived by son, John (Pam) and son, David and family, numerous grandchildren including
Mellissa (Brad) and Alec, as well as many nieces, nephews, and her sister, Charlene Marek.
Visitation was held on Saturday, Feb 27, 2021 at Knesek Funeral Home 122 N FM 1093 Wallis, Texas
77485 9:00-9:45 am. Funeral Service following visitation at 10:00 am at Church of the Guardian Angel
5614 Demel St. Wallis, Texas 77485.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Hattie's name
to the charity of your choice.
