It is with deep sorrow and abiding love that we announce the passing of Haydee Hernandez, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister and sister in law, who was called home to be with the Lord on 07/24/2025.
A loving wife to her dear husband, Gilmer, was the heart of their family - a source of strength, compassion, and unwavering love. Together, they built a home filled with faith and joy. She was the proud mother of three daughters, the adoring grandmother to thirteen grandchildren, and the joyful great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren. Her legacy will live on through the lives she touched so deeply. Haydee was also a beloved sister, sister in law, aunt and loyal friend. Her presence brought comfort, her smile brought peace, and her words always came from a place of grace and wisdom. To know her was to be embraced by warmth and love. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, family, and selfless love - one that will be treasured forever.

She will be missed beyond measure and remembered always with love.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at The Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home located at 275 West Milton Ave in Rahway, NJ 07065.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the funeral home. Interment to immediately follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery located at 53 Inman Ave in Colonia, NJ 07067.
