Aurora Del Rosario

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved matriarch, Aurora Del Rosario, at the age of 84, on July 23, 2025. Born on August 6, 1940, Aurora lived a life full of faith, love, and generosity. Raised in a convent, she carried those values with her throughout her life. She found her lifelong partner in Robustiano, and together they shared decades of love and devotion and built a beautiful family. Aurora was not only a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt but also an entrepreneur. In the early 1960s, she founded Rossan's Beauty Parlor, a popular salon in the Philippines. After immigrating to the United States in 1979, she opened three salons in New Jersey, known as Aurora's Hairport. Her legacy includes not only the beauty she created with her hands, but also the lives she uplifted through mentoring her employees and helping many become U.S. citizens. She is survived by her child, Rossana, and Rossana's husband, Albert Ignacio; her three grandchildren, Aldrew, Alyssa, and Rianne; and her nieces and nephews. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved Robustiano. A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, July 25, 2025 at The Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home located at 275 West Milton Avenue in Rahway, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church located at 420 Inman Avenue in Colonia, NJ.
