It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Hayden Lee Davis on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the tender age of 14. Born on December 10, 2010, in Port Huron, Michigan, Hayden was a beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend. He was a student in the 8th grade at Handy Middle School, where he was known for his caring nature and passionate spirit.
Hayden was a creative and intelligent young man who had a deep love for space, all things basketball, and video games, especially Fortnite, which he enjoyed playing with his siblings. He cherished the moments spent fishing with his Papa and had a smile that could light up any room. Hayden's determination and perseverance were evident in everything he did; once he set his mind to something, he never gave up.
He had a special fondness for the color red and collected all the flavors of Mt. Dew bottles. Hayden loved Slim Jim's, had a sweet tooth for M&M candies and Little Debbie snacks, and admired LeBron James as his favorite NBA player.
Hayden's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and he will be forever missed and loved by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved parents, Sean and Crystal (Huyghe) Davis, brothers: Carter, Kaiden, and Declan, sisters Lilly and Airy, grandparents: the Davis', Huyghe's and DeGrandchamp's, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The Funeral Service for Hayden will be Monday, April 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1200 Garfield Ave., Bay City, MI 48708. Hank Messing will officiate. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. In honor of Hayden, everyone is encouraged to wear red when you are attending the visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, Sean and Crystal suggest that monetary donations be made to the family who are setting up a non-profit in Hayden's memory for youth who may be less fortunate and need assistance with sporting equipment and team fees.
