Hazel Mae "Corky" Kronk, 96, of Beaver, passed away on March 13, 2025 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center.
She was born on November 16, 1928 to the late Elmer and Hazel (Wallace) Kronk in Canton, Ohio.
She was a graduate of Monaca High School, received her Bachelor degree from Geneva College and her Masters of Education from Kent State University. Hazel was a High School Business Teacher for thirty eight years at schools in Stark County, Ohio and Beaver County, Pennsylvania. retiring in 1989 from Big Beaver Falls Area School District. She was a member of First Christian Church of Beaver, National Society of The Daughters Of The American Revolution, where she was Past Regent in 1991, 2019 and 2021, Beaver County Teachers Association, and the Ladies Mini Golf League.
Hazel is survived by her loving, sister, Earldeen Korak; seven nieces and nephews; and dozens of cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Dale "Dick" Kronk and Rozann Herstine.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio, with funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Lew Ellinger, officiating. Interment will follow the East Union Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial contribution may be made to Meals on Wheels, Rochester, Pennsylvania.
