Mrs. Hazel Jean Loze, 84, of Newnan, widow of the late Gary Albert Loze, died Thursday, August 14, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Loze was born on October 31, 1940, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and had been a residence of Newnan for many years. She retired from Walmart after over 20 years of service at both the Newnan and Peachtree City Locations. She loved flowers and collecting dolls of all kinds, anything that was delicate and pretty. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family, especially for her husband whom she loved dearly. After Gary passed in June, she longed to join him in Heaven.

Survivors include her daughters, Valerie Ann Shelton (Bryant), and Victoria Lanier (Stephan); sons, Ronald Ray Loze, Robert Kevin Loze, and Daniel John Loze; grandchildren, Tony Sanchez, Veronica Barillas, Angelina Sanchez, Matthew Eikenberry, Joshua Lanier, and Jacob Lanier; 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for both Hazel and Gary will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Hillcrest Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
