Mrs. Nancy Ann Harris, 82, of LaGrange, died Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Wellstar West Georgia Hospital.

Born May 22, 1943, in Freeport, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Willis Carl Wilbur and the late Amy Small Wilbur. Despite being deaf and mute, Nancy never let her challenges define her or hinder her from achieving her goals. Her ability to communicate and connect with others went beyond words, as she touched the lives of many with her gentle nature and compassionate heart. Nancy dedicated her life to her family, pouring her love and energy into caring for her children and grandchildren. She created a warm and nurturing home where laughter was abundant, and every family member felt cherished and supported. Her unwavering devotion to her loved ones was the cornerstone of her existence, and her legacy of love will continue to flourish in the hearts of those she leaves behind. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Nancy's presence was a source of comfort and joy to all who knew her. Nancy's story is not one of silence but one of profound impact, a narrative of a life that spoke volumes through actions and love.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Harris; children, Michael Garrett (Melissa), Peggy Hembree, and Cheryl Waddell; siblings, George Wilbur, and Gertrude Wilbur; grandchildren, Krystal, Lejandro, Lynsey, Tommy, Michael, Steven, Brittney, Tiffany, Meagan, Roger, Joey, Nicholas, Jessica, and Redd; and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Hillcrest Chapel.
