Hazel Trimble McPherson

Hazel Trimble McPherson of Blacksburg. Passed away, on February 23, 2023, at Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital. She was born March 8, 1935, to Edward Lee and Nannie Smith Trimble. She is proceeded in death by her parents and loving husband of 50 years Elmer C. McPherson, Mother-in-law, and Father-in-law! Daughter-in-law Anna McPherson, Granddaughter Kristy M Shultz! Left to cherish her memory are her; brother, Ray Trimble of Florida; Son, Robert McPherson of Pulaski, and daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and Steve Smith of Blacksburg. Granddaughter and husband Mary and Todd Belcher. She has five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren! She also leaves behind four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law! She was a member of Slusher's Chapel Church of God! Mom enjoyed helping make Easter Eggs and serving the Ruritans their meals! She will be missed by her Church friends Doris, Carol, Francis, and Jan., And lots of other friends and family! We are honoring Mom's wishes by having a graveside service, Monday, February 27, 2023, at 11:00 am at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg, Va., with Rev. Richard Gilbert officiating.
