Hazel Mae (Sigman) Pitts, born on October 2, 1957, in Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024, in Spencer, IN. She was a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), known for her compassionate care and commitment to her patients. Hazel cherished her time spent with family and friends, finding joy in playing bingo and engaging in various crafts. Above all, she loved nothing more than being with her beloved baby, Sammy, who brought light and laughter into her life.

She is joined in heaven by her parents, Lloyd Sigman Jr and Mary Janice Sigman as well as two brothers, Raymond Lloyd Sigman and Max Charles Sigman.

She is survived by her daughter, Amber Sigman, grandson, Travis Thezan, son, Timothy Sigman, and a granddaughter who will carry her memory forward. Additionally, Hazel leaves behind her siblings, Karen Cummings (Mick) and Jan Burns, along with one brother, who will forever hold her in their hearts. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews as well as those that she held close and considered family.

Hazel's warm spirit and unwavering love for those around her will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Celebration of Life for Hazel will be held Friday, October 18th at the Family of God Church on SR 67 in Spencer; viewing will be at 5:30 pm with a short memorial service at 6:30.
