Hazel Stevens, age 88, of Bronston, Kentucky passed from life on December 31, 2025 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.
Hazel was born on January 8, 1937 in Krypton, Kentucky. She cherished being at home surrounded by her family, holding each of them close to her heart and loving them dearly. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Arnold Thomas Stevens; her husband, Elmer Stevens; her mother, Polly Morrison; and her grandparents, Steve and Lula Campbell.
She has left behind three children, Diana Bates of Bronston, KY, Gary Stevens of Bronston, KY, and Evelyn & (Danny) Coyle of Hillsboro, OH; She has 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; a sister Lula & (Jerry) McKenzie, of Oldtown, Maryland and a brother, Terry & (Kathy) Morrison of St. Cloud, Florida; and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Haste officiating
Burial will be at Cuba Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time for services.
