I will never forget Heath´s kindness. When I was newly hired into Genesys, I was required to float to MICU. Not my home unit and I was a new ICU nurse.
They gave me a terrible assignment. A person that was actively being violent. I had found out I was newly pregnant just 6 weeks along. I think he could see the terror in my eyes. He came to me as a stranger and said, switch me assignments. I told him, with tears in my eyes that I was so thankful and that I just found out I was pregnant and I wasn´t telling people yet.
I was so scared in that moment and he just handled it. After that I worked with him many times in the ICU´s and then in the Cath lab when he was a CRNA.
I always followed his travel journeys and later his health struggles. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
Love, comfort and prayers to his beautiful family and those who were lucky enough to know him

I'm sorry I did not get to meet you, you came to F co around the time I retired, but that doesn't mean we are not brothers.
We can exchange stories when I get there, RIP trooper
