Heather Chapman, age 47, passed away on December 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Heather was born on April 27, 1978, in Ogden, Utah and spent her life rooted in the mountains and community of Eden, Utah, the place she loved most. Her passing has left a space impossible to fill in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Heather was a free spirit in the most beautiful sense. She was proud of the love she carried for her family, especially her three children – Nicolas, Carson, and Anna. Being their mother was the joy and purpose of her life. She lived with a creative heart, finding meaning in art, music, and nature. She loved the outdoors, the stillness of winter, and the thrill of skiing down a mountain with grace and elegance. Her soul was that of a gypsy, vibrant and adventurous. Always dreaming of a life filled with creativity, color, and the freedom to make the art that lived so deeply inside her.
Heather had a special connection to dragonflies, symbols of transformation and light, fitting for someone who touched the world with sincerity and spirit. Her presence was a gift, her laughter was unforgettable, and her love was something her family will carry with them for the rest of their lives. She was deeply loved and will be forever cherished.
Heather is survived by her children, Nicolas, Carson, and Anna. Her siblings, Rebecca Poll, Dana Chapman, Aaron Chapman. Her parents, Kay and Evelyn Chapman. She is preceded in death by her loving companion, Maggie, whom she now joins in peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM MST at the Hearthside Reception Center in Eden, Utah. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor Heather’s life, share memories, and remember the beautiful, wild, loving spirit that she was.
Heather’s light will continue in the hearts of those who loved her, in the art she created, and in every dragonfly that dances on the wind.
