Heaven Elizabeth Firestone

1991-2025

Heaven was born in Michigan on September 14, 1991. As a young child she was welcomed into the home of Donald (Jim) and Kathleen Firestone. Her mischievous smile charmed everyone, and she didn't believe "it can't be done."

She attended Living God Christian School and Northport Public School. She had a beautiful singing voice and loved to perform in school programs and plays. As an adult, she accompanied herself on the guitar and sang at social events and at her employment.

Heaven took her last earthly breath on September 12, two days before her 34th birthday, as the result of an auto accident in Grand Traverse County. She had signed up to be an organ donor, and this decision has, likely, already improved the lives of several others.

She is survived by her parents, Jim and Kathy Firestone of Northport, by the brothers she grew up with – Corey, Alex and Douglas Firestone, older brothers and sisters – Alan, Jillene, Steve, Jennifer, and Brad Craker, and Debi Firestone; also by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Heaven also maintained relationships with the family of her birth – Kyle Steed, Britney Hawks, Calieanne Grossheim and Brianna Cres. She was a special big sister to Sidney Fisher. Heaven had a myriad of friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at Northport Covenant Church on Sunday, September 21 at 3 p.m.

A time of music and remembrance will take place at 7 p.m. on that same day, at Heaven's place of employment, Kingsley inn, in Kinglsey.
